There are wonderful things about growing up in California, but what it lacks is the real experience of the seasons. Now that I live in New England I go crazy for them, especially spring and fall I love the cool fall air, hiking, the colorful leaves and the tastes. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m obsessed with taking pictures of the falling leaves.
I love to bake with the boys and when I came across this recipe on Pinterest I knew we had to make it. It was really yummy with all the spice and pumpkin flavors that I love about fall. It had multiple steps which the boys loved, like squishing dough balls with a glass.
We are so thankful for the great people that we have in our lives and Thanksgiving is the perfect time to let them know. We gave some of the fruits of our labor to our teachers, coworkers and bus drivers and I was asked for the recipe from all of them. So, for those who asked and those who now want the recipe due to the yummy picture, here is a link to the recipe. We hope you have as much fun making and eating them as we did and that you take time to enjoy the leaves falling and the special people around you!
